China Town or “Yaowarat” is the biggest Chinese community and popular tourist attraction for all the food lovers in Thailand. At day time, it is famous for the largest gold trading for a long period of time. You can also enjoy the original Chinese restaurant, herb shop, or visiting to the Chinese temple. At night time, the heaven for all the food lovers begin, both sides of the street will fill up with an incredible food stall that mouthwatering you with Chinese food and seafood. Yaowarat is famous for both Thai and Foreigner. So, don’t forget to come and visit once while you stay in Thailand!

How to get there: Use MRT subway from Sukhumvit Station to Hualamphong station. Walk from the station for 10-15 minute.

Jim Thompson House

The Jim Thompson House is the home of James H.W. Thompson, a self-made American entrepreneur who was the founder of the world renowned Jim Thompson Thai Silk Company. Thompson’s achievements during his 25 year stay in the Kingdom of Thailand have won him much fame as the “Legendary American of Thailand”.

How to get there : Located in the center of Bangkok, it is conveniently reached by car, taxi, Tuk tuk, or the Sky Train (National Stadium).

The Erawan Shrine

The Erawan Shrine was originally built in 1956 as something of a last-ditch effort to end a string of misfortunes that occurred during the construction of a hotel, at that time known as the Erawan Hotel. After several incidents ranging from injured construction workers to the sinking of a ship carrying marble for the hotel, a Brahmin priest was consulted. Since the hotel was to be named after the elephant escort of Indra in Hindu mythology, the priest determined that Erawan required a passenger, and suggested it be that of Lord Brahma. A statue was built and, lo and behold, the misfortunes miraculously ended.

Asiatique The Riverfront in Bangkok

Bangkok’s Biggest Street Food Attraction | Central World Stalls

If you are staying nearby Pratunam area and looking for breakfast after your comfy sleep in our hotel, why not head down to the food street at Ratchadamri Road, nearby Big C supermarket if you have already tried looking around Pratunam Morning Market and outside Central World shopping center.

The food street mainly caters for office workers who are off to work early as I observed most of the customers are mostly locals who are buying breakfast along the way to work. The food street stretched from the bridge at Ratchadamri Road down to the Big C Supermarket. You may also find some clothes vendors along the streets as well.

How to get there : Take the BTS to Chit Lom station, walk towards Ratchaprasong road and cross the street over to Central World. Walk all the way past Central World on your way to Pratunam, and it would be impossible to miss these Thai street food stalls (only begin at 5 pm).

Kaiton Pratunam Chicken Rice

This version of chicken and rice originated in Hainan, China, and spread while being perfected in places like Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand.
